Small Diet Changes
Changing your diet doesn't have to be a life altering experience. Most people tend to fail on diets because they take on too much at one time. For this week, and this week only, think of two things that you will change about your diet. Give up pasta for the week, pass on that extra ice cream serving that you eat each night after dinner, or refrain from ordering in one time this week.

Boost Your Confidence
Whether you are the weight you love now, or you'd like to lose a few pounds, you are still a great person. Many people put an incredible amount of their self worth into their weight and their looks. Starting to love yourself as you are may actually, and ironically, help you to lose that weight you've been craving to lose.
Here is one tip for today. Think of something that you like about yourself and write it down in one sentence. Say that sentence to yourself when you wake up in the morning, at lunch time, and when you go to bed all this week. Repeating positive phrases to yourself can help you to build your confidence and to feel better about yourself.

Easy Dieting Tips
Most people fall off of diets because they are too strict with themselves. If you are thinking of starting a diet, why not first think of just one or two things that you are willing to eliminate in your diet for this week? Taking things slowly and easing into a new routine can really make all of the difference. Here are a few suggestions.
1. Cut out soft drinks - See if you can live without caloric drinks for this week.
2. Say goodbye to one dessert this week - If you usually eat a lot of desserts, see if you can pass on one of them this week. Or, if you eat three desserts a day, see if you can pass on one each day.
3. Eliminate one unhealthy habit - Think of one habit that you can stop just for this week. Say goodbye to the 10 pm snack, or get rid of the potato chip bags, or think of another example for yourself.
